International Women's Day was celebrated on 9th March, 2023 in Worbridge School during the assembly. The women were greeted with flowers and chocolates. The male teachers of Wordbridge School took a moment to express their gratitude and admiration for the incredible women in their lives during the morning assembly. As men, they have had the privilege of working alongside, learning from, and being inspired by women who have made significant contributions to their fields, families, and communities.
We know that throughout history, women have often been marginalized and discriminated against, and it is important to acknowledge the progress that has been made towards gender equality. However, women continue to face significant obstacles and barriers, both subtle and overt, in their personal and professional lives.
We must recognize that true progress can only be achieved when both men and women work together, and when everyone, regardless of gender, is given the opportunity to reach their full potential.
Let us celebrate the incredible achievements of women and recognize their contributions to society. And let us work together to build a more just and equitable world for all.
