'The National Mourning Day' was observed in Wordbridge School in the remembrance of the demise of our Father of the Nation with great solemnity and solidarity during the morning assembly.
It started with a short speech by one of our students, Sushmita Saha on the life of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman followed by an inspiring poem recitation "Baper Beta", performed by
Tazwara Karim (Class III) & Alveena Ahsan Manha (IV).
It ended with a speech by our honorable Principal reminiscing the masterpiece and sacrifice of our Father of the Nation. A minute of silence was observed in honour of our Father of the Nation and all the martyrs.
