Wordbridge School 2nd Art Bonanza

Wordbridge School commemorated the Birthday of the Father of the Nation, Children’s Day and Independence Day on Friday, 17th March 2023 by holding the inter school art competition, 2nd Art Bonanza.

This mega event started with a lot of fervor and excitement with participants and guardians eagerly gathering at Wordbridge School campus.

More than 300 participants of over 100 schools from all across the country took part in the event. This speaks volumes for the popularity of this event amongst the students.

The participants were divided into four groups and given four different themes for drawing. Eminent personalities from the field of Arts judged this event.

1. Chief Judge

Professor Shahjahan Ahmed Bikash, Chairman, Department of Fine Arts, University of Development Alternative, Dhanmondi, Dhaka

2. Judge

Nasimul Khabir, Assistant Professor, Department of Sculpture, University of Dhaka

3. Shamima Haque, Assistant Modeler, Department of Archaeology, Bangladesh

Faculty, Department of Art, Shurer Dhara

Mr. Abdullah Al Mamun, Regional Development Manager- Bangladesh & Nepal, Pearson Edexcel graced the occasion as a special guest.

The winners in different categories were awarded with prize money, crests and certificates.

This grand event was covered by national channels & newspapers such as NTV, Jamuna TV, Sonali Online News and Kalerkantho.
